How can we make Wood Green a better place for people with disabilities?

Over the next few days, you will see comments appearing on the Commonplace map about disabled peoples’ experiences of different places and spaces in Wood Green.

These comments will be made during a small number of guided tours being run by Public Voice . During the tours, people with a range of different disabilities will explore the town centre and Cultural Quarter of Wood Green and comment on aspects of the design that are difficult for people with disabilities, and how these could be improved.

Haringey Council is keen to hear from other people with a disability (or their parents or carers) about how Wood Green can become a better place for people with disabilities to live, work and visit – so join the conversation, agree with any comments that you like, share them on social media and add your own!
